Winter Field Skills Training Course

Lynx live-trap building party

To outfit lynx with GPS collars, we needed to build 30 box traps using a design that is safe, humane, and effective for capturing lynx. Volunteers joined us for a trap-building work party where we cut and assembled the PVC trap frames and wrapped the frames with chicken wire. By helping to build traps, volunteers contributed to this important, local wildlife research.

Home Range hosted a booth at this year's national conference of The Wildlife Society, where we made many exciting connections with biologists from near and far.

A silent auction with goodies from local businesses and organizations capped off a fun event. THANK YOU to everyone who attended!!
